About APQP on the Web
ShopEdge software is excited to announce the public beta release of our APQP on
the Web software platform. It is a web-based solution, that can be setup in minutes.
The system is a tool for manufacturers to keep their APQP
processes on track. APQP on the Web keeps your process on track by keeping team
members informed of task status and upcoming due dates, and customers informed by
allowing them to easily track progress.
No matter the size of your company, APQP on the Web can help simplify your APQP
process. Small manufacturers can benefit from the features that keep your
customers updated with project status, and large manufacturers can benefit from
the features that enhance your internal and external communication.
Internal Communication
The system is designed to streamline internal communication. As a project manager,
potential problems are easily identified. You can view upcoming project milestones, overdue tasks and project summary information by
by customer, department, or by user. You can also force a response from users about specific tasks so progress is constantly updated.
Prevent missed deadlines by easily identifying project bottlenecks and re-assigning
project resources to get ahead.
As a team member, it is very easy to view your workload. The welcome screen presents
users with a summary of all outstanding work, and tasks needing attention are highlighted. Users are also notified about changes in the system

External Communication
APQP on the Web makes it very easy to keep customers informed about project status.
You can allow your customers to access the system so they can view any public information about a project,
and you can also schedule the system to generate custom status reports that are emailed directly to customers.
The system also is a repository for project-related documentation. PPAP submission documents, FMEAs, and control plans can be attached to a project.
Documents can be compiled into a submission package and emailed directly to customers.

is important. That is why ShopEdge has decided to release the beta version of our
software for public access.
ShopEdge is allowing free public access to the beta version for a limited time. Once the software has reached a stable state,
we will be releasing the final version. At that point, APQP on the Web will become a pay-only service. Pricing details will be
released in the next couple of weeks.
